I use a strengths-based approach to support clients in identifying and working towards their goals for the future while recognizing and validating whatever struggles bring them to counseling in the present.

I have an open and accepting style and draw on different techniques depending upon the individual client and his or her reason for seeking support. I have a background in psychodynamic and family systems therapy and also incorporate cognitive-behavioral, stress management, mindfulness, and other behavioral strategies as is appropriate.
